as much normalcy as we can afford
normalcy... it feels normal to wait now. it feels normal to see the piles of debreis left on side of the roads in BR. it seems normal to have to wake up early to get to the stores to get gass, bread, milk, eggs..... the sortages feel normal. the banishment to school, work home seems normal (i never did much else anyway)
it feels normal but so unnatural simultaniously... yes it is expected that we adjust to our new settings but it feels so normal it feels wrong...
i want it to be the way it used to. when people still had homes. when people still had schools (mt carmel academy is suppsoed to be off the map, and sabrina is out of tulane(shes back workign with us in the helpdesk as we expected))
it's a horrid thought that so much is gone. it's downright eerie
they've been searching in target and walmart before you walk out the store (not the check recepit like, the send a sheriff runnign after you who grabs your arm)
ive seen cop cars from hundrends of diffrent places, a nat garud humvee a block from school... i've also spotted more cabs from kenner etc than i ever have when i've been down there
i still feel that disturbance i wrote about earlier. yet its still have to envision the city of sin and saints where i grew part of my life in, where my family may never return
