sr retreat was fun and good i must say. if nothign else go to mull over my life and reconnect with some people. and im not the only person who gets irritated by random sluts and whores... ive also come to the conclusion that even though i am very satisfied with who i am i am not connected to the world. there was this cool beach thing. sam carly and i threw the half deflated football carly found around... we got all beat up from slashing at each other and with the nails and grass.... liz wintz found a speed limit sign

aunt nancy, ruby and ruby's son came in town to adopt 2 puppies... cute dogs... crazy to drive from iowa though. anywho, it was nice to talk to the few people from my dads family who look me in the eye.

yesterday momma, my dad and emmy drove into new orelans (i was still in jesus camp). they didnt bring a camera (hiss) but mom did go into her old first neighborhood where the shotgun that live through besty and camellie is. the watermark was about at her shoulders. the only sign of life was a few guys cleaning up Junda's (one of the many bars my mother remembers goign by in her childhood... its across from the house... Junda was the guy who shot the tv when john wayne came on... she and puggie remember when he was chasing out this one guy with a butcher knife) the city is still cracked like the vase from the matrix

speaking of puggie, she was stressed out and super depressed... luckily for her, some of her first clients got together and pulle dup enough money for a group of them to go up to new york on train. should be good for her to get away from all that mess

i remember seeing this back in the day when i was at my aunts house once. old old school mtv... the bevus and butthead generation... i want to know how you can take somehting so uber surrealistic (enough so to make salvador dali blush) and make it live action... i am almost curious to see it.

brian called, the goverment is looking at his house in a box thing as a possibility for rebuilding the city. i hope that flies well for them. puggie's been working to get ahead her whole life and i hope this chance plays out well for them so they can retire to toledo bend and fish all the time.

anywho, my dad's looking about maybe signing up for an offshore job. a month on a month off. in england(training), south korea(more training, its where they're building the platform) and russia (off of that island that looks like it would be a part of japan but isn't). it would start in january. he's not really sure yet though.... it'd be quite a change. it also depends on when i graduate and move into collge... he would like to be here for that. i still think it would be kinda cool and i can tell there's some part of him that really wants to do it. if for no other reason than so he can grow his beard back to accomodate the cold climate.

we shall see...

anywho, theres a SJA trip to england this mardi gras and if i can come up with that money i am going.... so i am probably goign to a) sell art, katies dad has maybe offered exibit time b) become an ebay mavin c) lure a bunch of chs guys into a van and mug them (no, im too nice and have no baseball bat) or d)put in more late days at helpdesk (sorry em and alexis)
